Fractional Sales

A sales leader, without the headcount.

You do not need a whole sales function. You need someone senior who owns the number, sits in the hard meetings, and builds the machine while they do it.

Inside the role

Someone senior, carrying your number.

Five things the role covers. Not advice from the sidelines — the work itself.

01

Own the number

We agree the target and the plan to hit it, then we are measured against it. Not a deck of recommendations at the end of the month — accountability for the same number you are accountable for.

02

Build the go-to-market

Ideal customer profile, messaging, pricing posture and the pipeline model your business actually runs on. Built once, properly, so every conversation after it is cheaper to have.

03

Lead the people you have

Coaching, call reviews, pipeline discipline and honest forecasting. Your reps get a manager who has done the job, and you stop being the escalation path for every deal.

04

Sit in the deals

Discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, procurement, security review. Where a deal turns technical or commercial, the senior person is already in the room — not being briefed afterwards.

05

Report like a board member

One honest pipeline view every week. What moved, what stalled, what it means for the quarter — and what we are already doing about it before you have to ask.

Is this you

Four signals it is time.

Founder-led selling

You are the sales team

Selling got you here, and it is now the one thing you can neither delegate nor scale. Every hour inside a deal is an hour out of the product, the hiring and the funding.

No sales leadership

You have reps, not a leader

One or two people doing their best without a plan, a pipeline model, or anyone senior in the room when a deal gets complicated. Activity is high. Conversion is not.

Hiring risk

A VP is too big a bet

A sales VP is a six-figure commitment plus months of ramp, and the wrong hire costs you a year you cannot get back. You need the judgement now, not the payroll line.

New market

You are entering unfamiliar territory

A first move into North America, or a first move upmarket into enterprise. You need someone who has already made those mistakes on somebody else's budget.

How it works

Senior time, scoped to your stage.

Your tools, your data

We work inside the CRM and the stack you already run. Nothing migrates, nothing gets rebuilt, and when the engagement ends the pipeline, the playbook and the history all stay with you.

SellHi, only if it helps

SellHi is our own prospecting platform. If it makes your pipeline work better, we use it. If you would rather we did not, we do not — the role is the same either way. It is your call, not a condition.

Time, and how it is priced

Typically two to three days a week, scoped to your stage rather than sold as a fixed package. A monthly retainer plus a success fee when we win — so a share of what you pay depends on deals actually closing, not on hours logged.

Fractional Sales is part of Sales-as-a-Service, not an alternative to it. Start with a leader. When the pipeline outgrows what one person can carry, the full engine is already there to step into — same team, same context, no restart.

A 30-minute call. We will tell you what is working, what is costing you deals, and whether a fractional leader is genuinely the right answer for where you are.
